Maestro Mania is the creation of David Kral, an Australian-born, Hertfordshire-based performer.
After 8 years of teaching English and Mandarin Chinese in UK Secondary Schools, his recent diagnosis of Multiple Sclerosis has led to a career change as a full time Performer and Tour Guide.
After managing Guru Dudu UK for 8 years, David is thrilled to start his own company and to share his passions for music, dance and history with wider audiences.
David has recently completed the Institute of Tour Guiding's City of London Green Badge Course and is currently embarking on the Institute's London Blue Badge Course, due for completion mid-2028.
David is also an author, Chinese CCTV star, and actor with the Harpenden Musical Theatre Company currently starring in the musical 'Come From Away'.

Mandarin Language Guiding 中文导游 - 关于王大伟
David Kral has studied Mandarin Chinese for 20 years, and been a Mandarin teacher for 5 years as Head of Department.
He has a Master of Teaching from the University of Melbourne, specialising in Chinese, English and Theatre.
David completed Level 5 of the Chinese Proficiency Test (HSK) and Advanced Level of the Chinese Speaking Proficiency Test (HSKK).
In 2015, David represented Australia in the Chinese Bridge Competition, winning 'Most Outstanding Performance in the World' for his operatic rendition of the famous square dance, 'Little Apple'.
In 2016, he competed in the Jiangsu Foreigner Talent Competition, winning the award for 'Most Original Performance' (see video below).
His success earned him a Confucius Institute Scholarship to study at Nanjing University in 2016. During this time, he worked as President of the Australia-China Youth Association Nanjing Chapter, taught IELTS at South-East University, played Romeo in a Mandarin-language production of 'Romeo and Juliet', and was a guest performer at the Nanjing School of the Arts Annual Concert. In Australia, David has been seen hosting the 2017 ‘China Culture Day’, ‘Mid-Autumn Festival Gala’, and ‘Global Village Chinese Competition’.
David is excited to become a tour guide and hopes he can show Cbinese visitors the wonders of the UK. As a CELTA qualified EAL teacher, his bilingual tours are a fantastic way for students and tourists alike to practice their English in a fun, engaging environment.
王大伟学习中文已经有二十年，并且已经做了6年的中文老师担任中文系主任。他在墨尔本大学取得了教育教学硕士学位，专业是中文，英文和戏剧。大伟通过了汉语水平考试五级(HSK)和汉语水平口语高级考试(HSKK)。
在2015年，大伟代表澳大利亚参加了汉语桥世界大学生中文比赛，并凭借歌剧表演-中国著名的广场舞“小苹果”，荣获“最突出表演奖”。在2016年，他参加了江苏省外国人才艺展示大赛，并获得了“最具原创表演奖” (请观看下方视频)。
在2016年，他获得了孔子学院奖学金，进入南京大学深造。在此期间，他担任澳中青年联合会南京分会会长，在东南大学教授雅思，在中文话剧《罗密欧与朱丽叶》中扮演罗密欧，并在南京艺术学院年度音乐会中担任表演嘉宾。在澳大利亚，他主持过2017年“中国文化日”“中秋晚会”“地球村中文比赛”。
